Ever since its first season, Stranger Things has incorporated Dungeons & Dragons into its narrative. Now the two will cross paths properly in a comic miniseries from Dark Horse Comics and IDW Publishing.Stranger Things Meets Dungeons and Dragons will be written by Jody Houser (Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy) and Jim Zub (Champions, Wayward). The miniseries was announced during the DND Live 2020 event, with Houser posting details shortly after on Twitter. Joining Houser and Zub are Diego Galindo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Shattered Grid) on art, Michele Assarasakorn on colors and Nate Piekos on letters.RELATED: Skullkickers: Sword and Sorcery Comic Conjures Adult Animated Series

The cover features the main cast of Stranger Things in their respective roles from their in-show game. Lucas is a ranger; Mike is a paladin; Will is a wizard, and Dustin is a bard. There has been no word on whether other Stranger Things characters will appear in the series.

Houser previously wrote the Stranger Things: Six miniseries for Dark Horse. Zub has utilized Dungeons & Dragons tropes in his creator-owned series Skullkickers. He also penned the Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons miniseries for Oni Press.

Stranger Things Meets Dungeons and Dragons goes on sale this November.
