Superheroes met the supernatural when "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown stopped by the set of "Avengers: Infinity War."

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo posted a photo today on Facebook showing the 12-year-old actress watching a monitor alongside them. It was accompanied by the caption, "Guest director Millie Bobby Brown."

Although the photo sparked immediate speculation in some corners of the internet that Brown might make an appearance in the Marvel Studios sequel, it's important to point out that "Infinity War" is filming outside of Atlanta, not far from where production is under way on the second season of the Netflix drama.

Arriving May, 4, 2018, "Avengers: Infinity War" boasts a sprawling ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff and Josh Brolin.

Debuting Oct. 31 on Netflix, the second season of "Stranger Things" also stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Matthew Modine. They’re joined by Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen and Brett Gelman.
