Stranger Things Just Released a 12-Hour Video Starring Alexei

On Friday, Netflix uploaded something for fans who have been itching for more Stranger Things content: a 12-hour video of Alec Utgoff's character Alexei drinking his Slurpee.

While viewers may at first believe the video is just a loop of the scientist sipping on his beloved cherry Slurpee, those with more patience will discover there's more to it. Occasionally, the video plays the entire scene where David Harbour's Jim Hopper takes possession of a man's car, claiming that Alexei is one of the most dangerous men in the world, before resuming the Slurpee loop. The entire video is set to Orchestra Heinz Kiessling's "Cold Comfort."

Although several surprises came out of Stranger Things Season 3, perhaps the most unexpected was how much fans grew to love Alexei, a Russian scientist hired to create an opening into the Upside Down. While the character didn't say much during the series (on account of his not being able to speak English), he was able to win over the hearts of audiences with his childlike personality and love of Slurpees.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey and Maya Thurman-Hawke. All three seasons are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
