The repercussions of The Death of Doctor Strange will continue to be felt throughout the Marvel Universe in a Strange Academy one-shot this fall.
CBR can exclusively announce Strange Academy Presents: Death of Doctor Strange #1 by Skottie Young and Mike Del Mundo. The one-shot features Strange Academy closing its doors following the Sorcerer Supreme's death, forcing the student body to return home to their parents. In the case of the Asgardian twins' Iric and Alvi, that means they have to spend time with their villainous mother, Enchantress. However, The Wizard will also be involved, looking to collect on a debt.
"Doctor Strange's death has affected every corner of the Marvel Universe, especially the Asgardian Twins Iric and Alvi and their sorcerer mother, Enchantress!" Young said. "With Strange gone, The Wizard has come to collect his half of the bargain… The Enchantress' firstborn son!"
Strange Academy #10 revealed Iric and Alvi's mother is Enchantress after the school took a field trip to Asgard. Iric broke away from his classmates to pay his mother a visit, finding her a prisoner in the roots of the World Tree.
