The first Steven Universe film was released earlier this year, and with the home video release, fans will get the chance to see how the movie was assembled.

Special features on the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release include a one-hour documentary that goes behind the scenes of the film. The video will showcase series creator Rebecca Sugar and the rest of her collaborators as they develop the project, including looks into the process of pitching scenes and working on the designs for the movie.

Below, CBR has an exclusive clip offering fans a glimpse at this part of the documentary, featuring Sugar and some of the voice actors who bring the Crystal Gems to life.
