Obvious spoilers ahead! Pink Diamond was a major character in the Steven Universe story, despite not being around. Her presence loomed over the entire series like a ghost, and it all built up to an amazing reveal. Yes, Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond all along. Steven's mother was one of the Diamonds that took over planets. However, Pink decided she did not want to rule Earth and instead rebelled against her family and freed other gems of their harsh born-into-your-role system. In that regard, she was a hero.

However, as we have seen the story progress... a lot of fans agree that Pink was a pretty bad person as well. She kept secrets from those she was closest to, hurt others, and basically ran away from all her problems instead of facing them. She is definitely one of the most fascinating characters in the show. So, of course, there is a lot of fan art of her as well. Here are ten pieces we love. Be sure to check out the artist links as well, as they deserve credit.

10 Pretty And Pink

Drawn by GistMellow, this is a re-draw of the reveal scene of Pink Diamond's identity. The artist wrote that while they felt betrayed by Pink, they also thought she was beautiful in this scene.

While a lot of fans felt betrayed by the character, there was also a group that had predicted this since the beginning of the show. They pointed out that Rose Quartz's gem could just be a turned-around pink diamond. After the reveal, more and more fans discovered different foreshadows, such as the Cookie Cat song actually being about Pink Diamond.

9 With Pearl

This art is also focused on Pink Diamond's reveal episode. In that episode, Pearl was there talking to Pink about their plan to fake her own death. She made Pearl swear to never tell anyone about their plan, which appears to be something Pearl actually could not physically disobey.

The artist of this fan art is VioletTrinity. They have also done fan art for cartoons like Invader Zim, The Powerpuff Girls, and Batman.

8 A Pale Rose

Made by Pandanado, this Pink Diamond fan art also appears to have been made in the reaction to her reveal. Both the artist and viewers write a lot about how the episode blew their minds. At first, it made them feel like everything was Pink's fault, but later episodes did reveal that Pink also had her own trauma when it came to her family never listening to her.

In Steven Universe Future, more of the pain Pink has caused others has been revealed. For example, hurting her original Pearl. It makes us wonder whether more of Pink's own trauma will be unraveled more further in the future as well.

7 Crying Pink

This is another fan art piece by VioletTrinity. The colors are gorgeous! Something that the artist wrote is that Pink reminds them a little of when they were a bratty kid. That is actually a thought shared by other fans as well.

While many thought Pink to be a mysterious and ominous being, it was shown that she was actually a lot like a spoiled child in some ways. She demanded her own planet and colony like how a child would demand their parents buy them a new video game or something of the like.

6 Pink With Crystals

The artist, animloid54, did an amazing job making the crystals look real in terms of their shading.

Her gallery is rich with fan art from different shows such as Tokyo Mew Mew, Yuri on Ice, Cardcaptor Sakura, Teen Titans, Sailor Moon, Noragami, Black Butler, and much more. Pink is also not the only character they have fan art of from Steven Universe. She has also done art of Blue Diamond, Garnet, and Lapis.

5 Sweet Little Diamond

One of the reasons that Pink rebelled and changed her identity was that she was fascinated by humans. She fell in love with Greg, though some fans may debate that he was more of a fascination like the rest. She even had a human zoo back when she was a Diamond, which is pretty messed up the more you think about it.

This art was done by lBlacKiE-MaiDeNl. They do some amazing commission pieces and have done fan art for games like Detroit Become Human and Pokémon.

4 Speed-Paint

This fan art was a speedpaint done by Iydimm. You can see it on Youtube!

Pink looks angry in this fan art, and a lot of art done by fans show that side of her. Our first time actually seeing how she looks is frightening, as it's her furious expression while punching what appears to be a mirror. Later on, when we learn she broke the eye of her first Pearl, it seems that she did so in a fit of rage.

3 Falling In Love With Earth

This is one of the more happy pieces of fan art there is of Pink Diamond and Pearl together. Before fans learned about Pink's identity, they knew that Rose Quartz loved Earth with passion. So when we did learn that Rose and Pink were the same person, we found out that Pink fell in love with Earth and its creatures.

What she loved was that everything could change and make its own life without a predetermined destiny like the gems. This art was made by OhCallisto.

2 Surrounded By Pearls

According to the artist, SkyroreDraws, this piece was inspired by Rococo, which was an era of a lot of overly sweet and frivolous things. So the artist decided to draw Pink Diamond in a Rococo-inspired room. Also according to them, Pink is upset in this fan art because she was scolded by Yellow Diamond. This was also a speedpaint that can be seen on Youtube.

The art really captures both the bratty child and the traumatized family drama all in one.

1 Facing White Diamond

Just when you thought White's design could not get more unsettling! This is another piece by SkyroreDraws. While Pink is a diamond and is large by our standards (nine to twelve feet tall), she is still tiny compared to her diamond family.

The art has a lot of emotion despite not seeing Pink's face. The emotion is in the contrast of colors, Pink's many shadows, and the way the two diamonds hold themselves.
