Steven Universe has a long history of providing fans with musical numbers in between its storytelling and for the upcoming Steven Universe: The Movie, it doesn't appear as if that trend will disappear any time soon.

Deadline reports that several celebrities have been enlisted to lend their vocals to the upcoming television film. The cast will be involved in various original musical numbers from the series' Emmy nominated creator, Rebecca Sugar. The most recently-revealed list includes:

  • Chance the Rapper

The movie, which is the popular Cartoon Network series' first televised film, will feature Steven and his Beach City friends facing a brand-new threat, proving that the Crystal Gems' work is never quite finished. Although Chance The Rapper doesn't seem to be playing any character in particular, he will co-executive produce and contribute to the Rebecca Sugar music that has become a staple of the series thus far. Following the eventual DVD release, an accompanying soundtrack will be be available both physically and digitally.

Based on the animated series created by Rebecca Sugar, Steven Universe: The Movie is slated to air on Cartoon Network this fall.
