Thanks to the scope and potential within the Marvel multiverse, there are many versions of the potential children of the current crop of heroes. While some have been formally established and given a great deal of development, like Spider-Girl, others have only appeared briefly -- including the daughter of a fan-favorite couple from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who is Sharon Rogers, the alternate reality daughter of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter? This version of the character eventually took on her father's role as Captain America in her world.

In most worlds in the multiverse, Steve Rogers fought in World War II, only to end up frozen in icy waters for decades before he's found and revived. However, in some, Rogers was able to avoid that fate -- such as one of the worlds featured in Marvel: Future Fight.

There, Steve helped ensure the victory of the Allies over the Axis Powers. Following this, he and Peggy Carter continued to serve the world as founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D. While stationed in Korea as part of a mission, Peggy ended up giving birth to a daughter: Sharon. As she grew up, Sharon developed a drive to live up to the legacy of her parents and became a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Later, she took on the Captain America mantle.

Sharon is shown to possess many of the same abilities as her father, thanks to the Super-Soldier Serum that runs through his veins. This grants her advanced strength, agility and endurance beyond that of a regular human being.

She also possesses a decent amount of equipment, thanks in large part to her reality's Tony Stark -- who serves as a tech expert for S.H.I.E.L.D. Sharon wears Star Light Armor designed by Stark that gives her increased durability and wields two weapons: A Hard Light Projection Shield that can absorb and reflect energy attacks, as well as a Holo-Sword that she can use in combat.

It's nice to see at least one world in the Marvel multiverse where Steve and Peggy actually got to have their happy ending. The romance between the pair has become more prevalent in recent years, in large part thanks to their prominence in the MCU.

Steve and Peggy were separated by decades, with Steve meeting her again as an old woman in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and being present at her funeral in Captain America: Civil War. Following the massive battles of Avengers: Endgame, Steve made his way back to the past, one last time, to spend his life with Peggy.

It was a sweet ending for the MCU version of Captain America, but it was left somewhat unclear (purposefully so, as Steve decided to keep those memories to himself) exactly how his life got to play out with Peggy. In the world of Sharon Rogers, the pair were able to successfully start a family and still maintain their heroic roles. Their presence likely means that HYDRA is less of a threat to the globe and that heroes have flocked to S.H.I.E.L.D. and the potential it has to save lives.

Sharon Rogers has so far only appeared in the video game Marvel Future Fight and a tie-in comic to the game, but she presents an interesting new incarnation of Captain America and deserves the chance to appear elsewhere in the multiverse.
