Sterling K. Brown has offered his support to The Predator co-star Olivia Munn in light of pressure she’s felt after informing Fox that an actor she shared a scene with is a registered sex offender, which prompted the studio to cut the actor's scene from the film.Munn has been outspoken about her experience with the actor, Steven Wilder Striegel, on the set of The Predator. Striegel appeared in a scene in which he hit on Munn’s character. However, Munn learned that Striegel is a convicted sex offender who had spent time in prison for trying to entice a teenager into a sexual relationship online.RELATED: Munn: Fox ‘Silent for Two Days’ After She Reported Predator Sex OffenderSince he’s been released from prison, Striegel’s long-time friend and The Predator director Shane Black has frequently cast the actor in small roles in his films. Munn informed Fox about the matter, with the studio eventually stepping in and cutting the scene.

While Munn has received a great deal of support online for her actions, she’s allegedly been facing the silent treatment from many of her co-stars and Black. Munn opened up about her feelings on the matter in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, which got the attention and support of co-star Sterling K. Brown, who posted his thoughts to Twitter.

“I’m sorry you’re feeling so isolated, my dear. And I’m sorry you’ve been the only one to speak up publicly,” said Brown, adding: "When someone has been convicted of a crime of a sexual nature involving a child, we have the right to say that’s not okay!”

The Predator, directed by Shane Black, stars Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Thomas Jane (The Expanse), Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey (From Dusk Ttill Dawn), and Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale). The film premieres Sept. 14.
