Though Stephen Amell is perhaps best known for his role as Oliver Queen on Arrow, he also runs his own winery. Nocking Point Wines has teamed up with Carl Jr's. for an off-the-beaten-track promotion concerning the fast food chain's Angus Steakhouse Thickburger.

The Carl’s Jr. x Nocking Point Wines Steakhouse Burger Box features a bottle of 2016 "Year VII" Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah Blend, 2017 "Amell-Bec" Malbec, and 2017 "Turnaround" Mourvédre. The box also comes with a Carl's Jr. gift card and steakhouse-inspired recipes from Carl’s Jr.'s Chef Owen. It's available for purchase on the official Nocking Point website.

The promotion is meant to recreate the experience of dining at a steakhouse, as the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has led to decreased business in most restaurants. "As we geared up to introduce the Steakhouse Angus Thickburger, we recognized that for many, dining is probably still off the table," CKE Chief Brand Officer Chad Crawford said in a statement. “With the fine dining experience of a steakhouse meal still off the table for many customers, we saw some white space to deliver customers the flavors of a steakhouse meal through the convenience of a QSR offering at a tremendous value."

Nocking Point has created special wines for other projects Amell has been involved in, notably Netflix's Code 8 which he co-starred in and produced with his cousin Robbie Amell.

Amell is set to start filming on his next project, STARZ drama Heels. The show will focus on a family-owned wrestling promotion.
