Supernatural may be making headlines for its upcoming episode featuring characters from Scooby-Doo, but Arrow star Stephen Amell has his own idea for a cartoon crossover.

Fansite GreenArrowTV took to Twitter to ask fans of Arrow who they'd like to see Amell and company team up with if the show were to get its own animated crossover. Twitter users quickly chimed in with their own picks before Amell let fans know that if it were up to him, the crossover would be with Pinky and the Brain.

Both properties are owned by Warner Bros. which means that technically speaking the crossover isn't impossible, but something tells us we won't be seeing Pinky or Brain on the DC-based Arrow anytime soon, even if they would certainly hold their own against the formidable villains Green Arrow has faced.

Originating as a recurring segment on Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain starred the voice talents of Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche and ran as its own series from 1995-1998. The titular lab mice were bent on world domination, though the Brain -- known for his catchphrase, "The same thing we do every night, Pinky, try to take over the world!" -- was certainly more focused on that goal than his partner.

The Scooby-Doo crossover episode of Supernatural airs Thursday, March 29. Arrow airs Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on The CW.
