Vikings' Alexander Ludwig is jumping into the squared circle for Stephen Amell's wrestling drama Heels.

According to Deadline, Ludwig will play Ace, the brother and rival to Amell's Jack. In the series, the two brothers share a family-owned wrestling business -- Duffy Wrestling Association. However, while they may share the business, they're enemies in the ring, with Ace playing the hero while Jack portrays the villain (or heel).

While Ludwig's Ace may be star in the ring, "Things are more difficult in the real world, where he struggles to reconcile his town idol status with his insecurities and demons. He’s brash, cocky and self-destructive — yet so damn charming and good-looking that you can almost forgive him." He will be a foil to Amell's Jack, who is described as DWA's "hard-working owner, a husband and father trying to make ends meet while fighting to realize his impossible dreams."

Ludwig currently plays the warrior Bjorn Ironside, the son of the famed Norse king Ragnar Lothbrok, on Vikings, which is about to enter its sixth and final season. He is also known for his roles in The Hunger Games and Lone Survivor.
