More concept art has surfaced from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," showcasing designs for the Batmobile, Batwing and Batcave. But perhaps the most interesting of them all is the close-up look at the Batarang rack within the Dark Knight's armory.
The images, by Ed Natividad, were posted on ConceptArtWorld.com, and are featured in the books "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: The Art of the Film" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Tech Manual."
Awash of matted gray and gunmetal, the images embody Natividad’s signature style of an edgy, grim future.
Dubbed a “Design Superstar” by “TRON Legacy” Producer Sean Bailey, Natividad is no stranger to Hollywood or the superhero genre. He’s been bringing a unique look as conceptual designer on such blockbusters “I, Robot” and “Edge of Tomorrow," and you can see his designs brought to life in “Man of Steel” and “Superman Returns.”
Fans of Natividad’s style of dystopian bulk will be especially pleased to hear that he’s conceptual designer on the new “Blade Runner” sequel as well as “Justice League."
Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg, director Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
