Step Into “Batman v Superman’s” Batcave Via New Concept Art

While Wayne Manor itself may be in ruins in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the Batcave underneath the crumbling mansion will be packed with the latest technology. Entertainment Weekly has revealed a new look at the Batcave, which comes in the form of concept art.

The accompanying article also features quotes from the two men that spend the most time in the Batcave: Ben Affleck (who plays Batman) and Jeremy Irons (who plays Alfred).

“[Batman] represents human beings, mortal men,” Affleck told EW. “In a world of Flashes and Aquamen and Supermen, there needs to be that guy. It’s interesting that
 he became the
leader of the Justice League in the books — I’m not sure how that’ll play out here — but his humanity is also an asset.”

“Alfred is a lot more hands-on in our film than he has previously been,” said Irons of his butler character. “He’s a bit of a grease monkey, and he’s very involved in the decisions Bruce makes.” EW also released a new pic of Affleck and Irons together in the cave.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens on March 25, 2016.
