Okabe and Kurisu in steins gate

Working together with Moeka in order to get her D-mail, they have both decided to find FB for real and obtain the IBN 5100. (One of the crucial elements that helped Okabe dive deeper into the Alpha timeline.) After learning of the true origin of FB, more truths start to pop up such as the reasoning behind FB's manipulation of Moeka and the power that SERN's actually has. This both shows how serious the threat of SERNs actually is and also teaches Okabe that not everything will be without sacrifice.

6 Physically Necrosis (9.0)

After dozens upon dozens of attempts of trying to prevent Mayuri's death, Okabe finally breaks down only for Kurisu to pick up the pieces. Going back in time once again, but this time with the help of Kurisu in order to figure out how to solve the riddle behind Mayuri's death. Afterwards, viewers are treated to the origins of Suzuha and how she is actually a resistance fighter in a future world where SERN has long taken over the world.

5 Sacrificial Necrosis (9.1)

The episode of Sacrificial Necrosis is one full of tragedy. While fixing the time machine, viewers learned that she partly came to the year 2010 in order to meet her father who she has never met before. After a long series of events, it is learned that Suzuha's father is in fact, Daru. Definitely one of the most tearful episodes in the series.

4 Dogma In Ergosphere (9.2)

The episode that truly kicked off the series for many people. It starts off with a slow burn, with the creation of the time leap machine. A creation that allows the user to send his brain's consciousness back in time. In an act of celebration, the team decides to have a pizza party together. However, this celebration is all short-lived with the arrival of the Rounders and the death of Shiina Mayuri.

3 Open The Steins;Gate (9.2)

The first episode that takes place in the Beta timeline, this begins with Okabe and the team being reintroduced to an alternate version of Suzuha (who has traveled back in the past in order to prevent World War 3). In order to achieve this, Okabe must travel all the way back to the first episode and save Kurisu from her death.
