With most comic conventions either being canceled or postponed until further notice, the perfect solution has seemingly come along for all those impacted by COVID-19: the virtual Stay Home Comic-Con.

The organizers, comprised of a select group of artists and professionals, have come together for the sake of fans who are missing out on all the activities conventions provide. In a press release for Stay Home, organizers said, "Unfortunately almost all events, like comic cons, are canceled or postponed due to the Coronavirus. This means a huge income loss for artists, freelancers and (small) entrepreneurs. This, however, does not stop the creativity of artists."

Stay Home finally announced, "A group of artists, such as Gladys P. Nut and Irene Berbee has organised -- within two weeks -- an online convention, called Stay Home Comic-Con, which will be held in the weekend of 28 and 29th of March." The press release concluded, "The best thing about this convention?" the release concluded. "You can visit it, safely, from your own home!"

During the virtual convention, fans will be able to visit artists alley and booths for small shops. They will also be given opportunities to chat with other patrons and participate in cosplay contests. With the use of live-streams, artists will be able to appear during the convention.

Fans can register for a free ticket to Stay Home Comic-Con at their official site, as well as sign up for virtual cosplay contests.
