Up until now, there have only been leaked images to tease the appearance of Wildcat in DC Universe's upcoming Stargirl series. Now, a new style sheet provides the clearest look yet at the superhero.

The style sheet was posted on Instagram and provides fans with a glimpse at the intended look of Wildcat's costume, which hews fairly close to her comics incarnation. The costume itself was designed by Gina Flanagan, who, in addition to Stargirl, serves as the concept artist for other successful superhero shows such as Titans, its equally successful spinoff Doom Patrol and The Boys.

In the comics, Yolanda is the goddaughter of Ted Grant, the original Wildcat. When Grant was crippled during the original Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline, Yolanda assumed his identity in order to honor his legacy. Yolanda is a metahuman, with retractable cat-like claws and superhuman senses. During the New 52 reboot, Yolanda appeared on Earth-2, with a connection to the mystical force known as the Red.

Ted Grant will be appearing in the upcoming series, though not as Wildcat. It is known that Brian Stapf will be playing the character. The actor portraying Yolanda, however, remains a mystery. There is speculation that the role has been taken by actor Yvette Monreal.

DC Universe's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton (Starman), Brian Stapf as Ted Grant (Wildcat), Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Rex Tyler (Hourman) and Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman. The series will premiere Monday, May 18 on DC Universe and Tuesday, May 19 on The CW.
