Stargirl's archenemy Shiv returns to teach her old nemesis and the Justice Society of America a very dangerous lesson in the promo for next week's episode, "Summer School: Chapter Six" -- and she isn't alone in her scheme.
The promo begins with Courtney Whitmore asking Cindy Burman over the phone what she wants. "I wanna hurt you," Cindy cryptically responds. "First your friends. And then your family. Then you."
During the promo, Cindy's threats are spliced together with scenes of Hourman being attacked by a hooded figure and Pat Dugan being blasted by Issac Bowin with a violin bow, all of which have a red tint to them. The promo ends with Shiv pinning Stargirl to a vending machine and a wall exploding behind Hourman and his aforementioned hooded opponent.
In the current season of DC's Stargirl, Cindy -- the daughter of Injustice Society of America ally Dragon King -- began recruiting members for her new version of the team, successfully managing to bring Artemis Crock and Issac into it, themselves children of former ISA members. Cindy is also the one who freed Eclipso's Black Diamond in the Season 1 finale and is in league with the Prince of Darkness.
DC's Stargirl airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
