WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Stargirl Season 2, Episode 1, "Summer School: Part One," which aired Tuesday on the CW.

At the end of Stargirl Season 1, the Justice Society of America was successful in beating the Injustice Society, who were planning on mind controlling the adults of America in order to make the country they wanted, and this would kill about 25 percent of the population. While it was clear what the fate of some of these villains were in Season 1, others were left ambiguous until now, with Season 2, Episode 1, "Summer School: Part One." The following breaks down everything known so far about what happened to the JSA's villains.

Icicle

Icicle (Neil Jackson) was the leader of the Injustice Society, but he had to step away from the main battle to deal with Dr. Mid-Nite (Anjelika Washington), but he was too late, as the JSA stopped the Injustice Society's plans. Out of anger, he destroyed Mid-Nite's goggles and took Barbara, Stargirl's mom (Amy Smart). It was up to Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) and Pat (Luke Wilson) to save her, and while they held their own against Icicle, Pat had to focus on saving Barbara. Meanwhile, Stargirl was left hanging off the building, with Wildcat (Yvette Monreal) jumping to her rescue. Icicle was not so lucky, slamming into the ground, and before he could recover, Pat's son, Mike (Traw Romano), hit him with the car, shattering him. It's kept a secret what really happened to Icicle, as his son believes his father's death was an accident.

The Gambler

The Gambler (Eric Goins) was more brain than brawn, often hiding behind the computer as the Injustice Society's hacker. He was managing the technical side of this massive brainwashing, but Mid-Nite bested him, as she helped bring down the Injustice Society's system. While the other members of the Injustice Society -- aside from Solomon Grundy -- were either killed or imprisoned, The Gambler escaped, and he is the only member to remain completely a mystery at this time.

Solomon Grundy

As mentioned above, Solomon Grundy also escaped death and imprisonment. He was released during the final battle to fight the JSA, with Hourman (Cameron Gellman) going after him out of vengeance. However, Hourman saw that Solomon Grundy was more so a tool used by the Injustice Society, and he even expressed fear and confusion, so Hourman let him go. Come Season 2, it appears Solomon Grundy lives in the woods, with Hourman bringing him food; however, he's yet to make another on screen appearance.

Tigress and Sportsmaster

Sportsmaster (Neil Hopkins) and Tigress (Joy Osmanski) were a power couple and often fought side by side. This was the case during Season 1's final battle, with both excited to kill the JSA once again. However, they were unsuccessful. While Sportsmaster seemed to have an upperhand on Hourman and Tigress overwhelmed Wildcat, Stargirl jumped into action and knocked both out. They were then arrested, and according to their daughter, Artemis (Amy Smart), they're imprisoned for a robbery, thus keeping the events of the JSA and Injustice Society a secret; although, she claims it was a frame job.

Brainwave

Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) was another heavy hitter for the Injustice Society, and the JSA was lucky that he was out of commision for a majority of Stargirl Season 1, but he did come back, making it possible for the Injustice Society to put their plan into action. While it was important that he stay in his position for most of the operation, he could take a moment to  deal with the JSA, specifically going after Wildcat by projecting himself as his son, Henry (Jake Austin Walker); however, she saw through this lie and slashed his throat open, killing Brainwave.

Dragon King

Dragon King (Nelson Lee), who primarily worked in secrecy, also joined the final battle, drawing a sword to fight Shining Knight (Mark Ashworth). While known for his brains and controversial experiments, he proved to be a great fighter as well, nearly beating the knight. However, to his surprise, Cindy (Meg Delacy), his daughter, turned on him for locking her away, stabbing him in the back and presumably killing him. While he seems dead, he somehow survived an execution in the 1940s, so he may pull off another miracle later on.

Cindy Burman

cindy stargirl

While Cindy was technically not a member of the Injustice Society, she was Dragon King's daughter, and her goal throughout Stargirl Season 1 was to sit at the table with the villains. She even tried to take on Stargirl on her own; however, Dragon King saw this as a negative, locking her in a cell. As mentioned earlier, she killed her father, and from there, she went after Stargirl and the JSA, but Stargirl knocked her out.

She's presumed to have been crushed in the rubble of the lair, but this assumptions proves to be wrong. Instead, Cindy is alive and looking to restart the Injustice Society with the children of former members. She also plans on using Eclipso to accomplish her new goals, which will likely fuel the central conflict for Stargirl Season 2, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 8/7c on the CW.
