Less than a week ahead of the Stargirl series premiere, DC Universe has released a handful of hi-res photos that offer a detailed look at the main cast in their super costumes.
In addition to Injustice Society members Brainwave and Icicle, the set includes individual photos of Stargirl, Doctor Midnite, Hourman and Wild Cat. The stills reveal minute details on the suits, like the tiny hourglasses that make up the patterning on Hourman's bodysuit. Another image shows Pat Dugan's S.T.R.I.P.E. armor standing a good two stories tall in a workshop of some kind.
The series finds a new wave of heroes following in the footsteps of the Justice Society of America. Each young character takes their name from their predecessors, with Stargirl taking up Starman's mantle and so on and so forth. The Injustice Society villains pictured above, on the other hand, are the same characters who originally fought the JSA.
DC Universe's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) and Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan (S.T.R.I.P.E.). The series will premiere Monday, May 18 on DC Universe and Tuesday, May 19 on The CW.
