The first season of DC Universe's Stargirl is set to introduce all-new versions of the Justice Society and Injustice Society. However, fans should keep their eyes peeled for other heroes appearing during the series.

During a Q&A on DC Universe's community section, series creator and showrunner Geoff Johns was asked if fans would see any other heroes showing up in the first season. "Yes, you will. But I cannot say who!" Johns responded. "They are from the Golden Age though…"

Given that the Justice Society plays a large role in the series, many of its members would plausibly fit right in. Pat Dugan, aka S.T.R.I.P.E., is teased to be the last survivor of the original JSA's final battle. Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash, and Doctor Fate have also been hinted at. Perhaps future episodes will feature other JSA members and Golden Age villains.

Stargirl focuses on the adventures of Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) as she discovers the Cosmic Staff and becomes the superheroine Stargirl. Stargirl must re-form the Justice Society while also dealing with the rise of the Injustice Society; both teams consist of the descendants of the original roster.

DC Universe's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) and Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan (S.T.R.I.P.E.). The series will premiere Monday, May 18 on DC Universe and Tuesday, May 19 on The CW.
