The DC Universe app is celebrating the launch of its newest series, Stargirl, by hosting a live Q&A with star Brec Bassinger, who portrays Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, and Geoff Johns, who created the character.

Other guests include costume designer Laura Jean Shannon, who designed the costumes for Stargirl as well as Doom PatrolHarley Quinn executive producers and showrunners Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern, and DC archivist Benjamin LeClear. Johns' Q&A will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 5 pm PT, while Bassinger's takes place post-premiere on May 18 at 5 pm PT. Viewers can access the Q&A via the community section of the DC Universe. These events will be accessible to everyone, even if they don't have a DC Universe subscription.

Stargirl focuses on the adventures of Courtney Whitmore as she discovers the powerful Cosmic Staff, which was wielded by the original Starman. With the help of her father Pat Dugan and his mechanized S.T.R.I.P.E. suit, Courtney protects her small town of Blue Valley while assembling a new version of the Justice Society of America.

DC Universe's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) and Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan (S.T.R.I.P.E.). The series will premiere Monday, May 18 on DC Universe and Tuesday, May 19 on The CW.
