Where there’s superheroes, there's bound to be supervillains, and the latest casting announcement for Stargirl has revealed three members of the infamous Injustice Society will be joining the series. Tigress, Sportsmaster and Dragon King will all appear on the show, where they'll be members of the villainous team that battles the Justice Society of America.

Actress Joy Omanski will portray the lethal Tigress. “Protecting and providing for her family, Paula Brooks hunts the world’s most dangerous game- humans-as the Tigress.” In the comics, Tigress was originally introduced as a nemesis of the JSA member Wildcat and would eventually marry the villain Sportsmaster. Omanski’s credits include The Santa Clarita Diet, The Fosters, Devious Maids, The Following and small roles on iZombie, Younger and Lucifer.

Actor Neil Hopkins will portray Lawrence “Crusher Crock, also known as the deadly competitive Sportsmaster. “ He sees his criminal pursuits as a game to win-and his competitors as targets to kill. The only thing more important to Crock than ‘the game’ is his family.” In the comics, Sportsmaster has been a consistent enemy of the JSA who was known for his use of augmented athletic gear and teaming up with the deadly villain Tigress which eventually led to them getting married. Hopkins credits include recurring roles on Matador and Lost.

Actor Nelson Lee will portray the merciless Dragon King. “A deadly and mysterious hooded man..this controversial scientist has been experimenting on himself and his victims since the 1940s.” In the comics, the Dragon King was originally a high-ranking scientist with an interest in the occult employed by the Imperial Japan whose consistent experiments were so horrible that he chose to hide both his face and his work from the world. Lee’s credits include the upcoming adaptation of Mulan, Blade: The Series, Oz, Sneaky Pete and Ten Days in the Valley.

DC Universe's Stargirl, starring Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton (Starman), Brian Stapf as Ted Grant (Wildcat), Lou Ferringo Jr. as Rex Tyler (Hourman), with Anjelika Washington, Yvette Monreal and Christopher James Baker as undisclosed DC characters, arrives in 2019.
