Brec Bassinger revealed the most intimidating part of Stargirl Season 2.

At a press conference attended by CBR, Bassinger was asked about how comfortable she was playing the superhero now that Stargirl is on its second season. "Going into Season 1, I was definitely intimidated just walking onto such a big set and a role that I had never played before," Bassinger said. "Obviously, I was very nervous. And specifically, when it comes to, like, the physicality stuff, I was a gymnast growing up. So, I could do some of it."

Not everything was easy, however, as Bassinger struggled with one bit of physicality when it came to playing the DC hero. "[With] the Cosmic Staff, I felt like I had two left feet. I was so uncoordinated with that thing," Bassinger said. "I’m 5' 2" and that thing is 6'. So, I was always, like, tripping over it. The amount of cameras I hit with it, the amount of people I hit with it first season, was not my brightest moment."

Bassinger went on to discuss how she had a whole new level of confidence coming into the second season of the show, which was evident to those around her.

"It was so cool getting to come back with Season 2. And I would have hair and makeup people come up to me and just say, 'Brec, your walk is different when you’re Stargirl this year,'" the actor said. "Because I felt like I not only had bigger confidence in Courtney but more so in Stargirl and just how a superhero would walk, how to hold a six-foot staff, how to twist it around when we were doing fight scenes. I was thinking less about the choreography and more about Stargirl as a superhero. So I definitely was able to come into Season 2 feeling more confident as Stargirl, which was fun to get to play with."

Aside from her change in mindset, Bassinger also revealed the changes to Stargirl's costume for Season 2 which made her much more comfortable -- and less bruised. All told, it seems like the actor learned a lot from the first season, which was generally praised by fans and critics, so audiences can expect an even more thrilling set of episodes this year.

Season 2 of DC's Stargirl premieres Aug. 10 on The CW. New episodes air on Tuesdays.
