Lots of action is offered in a new trailer for DC's Stargirl, which brings together a new iteration of the Justice Society for the Arrowverse.

The 1:30 length trailer quickly covers the character's origin, beginning with the crash of a spaceship. A fatally wounded Starman declares to former partner Pat Dugan that "the Justice Society must live on," adding that "someone with strength and heroism must carry the torch." However, he flatly declares it's not Dugan.

Their conversation is cut with a scene of Dugan's teenage stepdaughter Courtney Whitmore finding Starman's Cosmic Staff in a crate. She also argues with Dugan about becoming a superhero while practicing with the staff. Dismissing Dugan's protestations of danger, Whitmore asserts that she will form a new Justice Society. Scenes play of Whitmore donning the Stargirl costume and leaping into action against several villains, separately and with the JSA.

DC's Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan (Stripesy), Joel McHale as Sylvester Pemberton (Starman), Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez (Wildcat), Amy Smart as Barbara Whitmore, Anjelika Washington as Beth Chapel (Dr. Mid-Nite), Cameron Gellman as Rick Tyler (Hourman), Joy Osmanski as Ms. Brooks (Tigress), Christopher James Baker as Dr. Henry King (Brainwave), Neil Jackson as Jordan Mahkent (Icicle), Nelson Lee as Dr. Ito (Dragon King) and Neil Hopkins as Lawrence Crock (Sportsmaster).
