Stardew Valley has plenty of romance options, ranging from the dark and broody to the glitzy and glamorous; Haley is definitely the latter. She has a big personality, and while her attitude may be off-putting at first, many players are drawn to her anyway, pursuing her as a friend or even a wife. With so many aspects to Haley, though, players can be left floundering when it comes to romancing her.

Haley is pretty simple to understand, but also difficult to pursue in some ways. She's very straightforward and blunt, and it's pretty easy to figure out her routine. She's arguably one of the most satisfying romances to achieve in the game, and, like Abigail, she's a fulfilling spouse if the player is willing to put in some effort.

Who Is Stardew Valley's Haley?

Haley is a bit snobbish and places a lot of pride on her appearance, but she also has plenty of other traits. She's passionate about hobbies like photography, she likes to go to the beach, and she always means well -- even if she doesn't come off that way. Although Haley seems stuck-up on the surface, there's plenty to get to know underneath if the player cares to look, and her personality changes drastically the more she and the player's relationship develops.

She's up-front about what she wants, but some find this blunt attitude distasteful. Regardless, she has a strong sense of self and is proud of her appearance, relationships and reputation. This straightforward take on life makes her a strong choice for plenty of players.

Where To Find Haley

Haley talking to the player character in Stardew Valley

Haley goes to a few different places throughout her day. In Spring, she starts in her house like all the other romanceable characters and stays there until at least 11 A.M. On Monday, she goes to the river by Marnie's Ranch and then goes back home at 4:30 P.M. On Tuesday, she goes to the fountain by the Community Center instead. Wednesdays, she leaves her house at 12:30 P.M. to go to the fountain. On all other days, she leaves for the fountain at 11 A.M. and goes back home at 4:30 P.M.

In Summer, she leaves her house at 10:30 A.M. to go to the beach every day except for Wednesday, when she stays in her house all day. On days when she goes to the beach, she leaves there at 1:30 P.M. to go to Alex's ice cream stand and then stays there until 5 P.M. before heading home. In Fall, she follows the same Monday routine as in Spring. Wednesdays, she follows the same routine as in Summer. On every other day of Fall, she goes to the fountain at 11 A.M. and then leaves to go to her house at 4:30 P.M.

During Wintertime, she stays in her room all day, every day, except for Wednesday, when she leaves to go to the fountain at 11 A.M. and then heads home at 4:30 P.M. She has a few deviations in her routine throughout the year. When it rains or snows, she stays inside all day. On Winter 9, she has an appointment from 11 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and heads home afterwards. On Winter 16, she stays inside until she goes to the Night Market at 4:30 P.M.

The Best Gifts, Movies & Answers For Haley

Haley from SDV saying "ew... No."

Haley is known for being a bit picky with her gifts. Something that fools a lot of players is her aversion to prismatic shards, which every other character loves. Rather than a shard, players should give her things like sunflowers, fruit salads, or pink cakes, which she likes so much that she called into "Livin' Off the Land" to ask for the recipe. She also likes coconuts, but players have to access the desert to get them, so repairing the bus stop should be an early priority for those looking to romance her.

Haley doesn't have a favorite movie at the movie theater, but she likes It Howls in The RainMysteriumNatural Wonders: Exploring Our Vibrant WorldThe Brave Little SaplingThe Miracle at Coldstar Ranch, and The Zuzu City Express. She also loves Cappuccino Mousse Cake and Stardrop Sorbet, which are concessions options at the theater.

Haley has two questions she asks the player. One can show up on a Saturday in Summer, and the other is available on a Saturday in Fall. For the first question, she asks what the player does all day. Any answer besides "snooping in your room" gives friendship points. For the second question, she asks the player what she should do that day. "Watercolor painting" and "relax and read a magazine" both give friendship points, but the second option gives twice as many.
