After having only appeared in various animated Star Wars offerings, Rosario Dawson is seemingly set to finally bring fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano to life for Disney+'s The Mandalorian. However, there are still a lot of questions as to just what's happened to Ahsoka since she her last canonical appearance. In this new exclusive video, we're going to explain some of the best theories as to what Ahsoka has been doing and how she'll fit into The Mandalorian.
Originally introduced in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka was created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni. Following her first appearance, Ahsoka starred in the Clone Wars animated series, which after a long hiatus aired its seventh season earlier this year. During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka served as Anakin Skywalker's Padawan and witnessed his fall firsthand. However, her time with the Jedi was not particularly easy, and she often found herself in disagreement with the Jedi Order's policies and practices. Chronologically, Ahsoka later appeared years after the Clone Wars ended, having played a key role in Star Wars Rebels, which ran from 2014 until 2018.

Created by George Lucas, the original Star Wars film, titled A New Hope, premiered in 1977. Since then, there have been nine films in the core franchise, with two spin-offs. Star Wars is one of the highest-grossing and most popular franchises ever, having made billions worldwide. There have been video games, books, theme park attractions and more based on the world of Star Wars.
