Star Wars' Ultimate Studio Edition Props Puts The Force In Your Hands

If you've had nothing but fan-made and store-bought lightsabers your entire life, then it might just be time for an upgrade. Star Wars has announced an official line of collectibles called the This new line of official Star Wars collectibles is definitely new line of Ultimate Studio Edition that present prop replicas from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that are more authentic than any that have been sold before. How'd they reach those new heights of authenticity? They're made by Prop Shop -- the company that made the actual props for "Force Awakens."

Marketed towards the "ultimate collector," these official, detailed replicas of items from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" were scanned from the actual objects used on set, with painstaking detail. Each item includes a chip that authenticates the serial number included with the item's Certificate of Authenticity, and they will even arrive at your address in wooden crates designed to look like the actual crates used to store the film's props.

Among the eight props are Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron's helmets, Rey's staff, Chewbacca's bowcaster and the hilts of Kylo Ren and Rey's (formerly Luke and Anakin's) lightsaber. As officially produced props created by the people involved with "Force Awakens," these items are going for a nice chunk of credits. The hilts and staff are the cheapest items at $1,250. The melted Darth Vader helmet and FN-2187's blood-stained stormtrooper helmet are limited to only 500 pieces and go for $3,500 and $1,750 respectively.
