Actress Julia Jones has joined the cast of The Mandalorian, Disney's first ever live-action Star Wars TV series.
According to Deadline, no details about her character have been announced, so it is unclear what role she will be playing in the Disney+ series. Jones is best known for her role of Leah Clearwater in three of the Twilight films. She has also appeared in Westworld, Longmire and Jonah Hex.
The Mandalorian will follow Pedro Pascal's titular bounty hunter as he explores the outer regions of the New Republic. Other cast members include Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Taika Waititi and Gina Carano.
The series takes place in the intervening years between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and will consist of eight episodes. While the The Mandalorian has not officially been renewed, series creator Jon Favreau is already working on Season 2.
Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts Nov. 12 on Disney+, the same date as the streaming service's official launch.
