The suspense around the new characters from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker continues to build. One of these new characters is Keri Russell's mysterious masked character, Zorri Bliss. However, we now have more information about her ahead of her debut.

As to be expected with the Star Wars cast members, Russell was rather tight-lipped about the details of her new character. However, she did say, "I do have the coolest costume. I will say that." The brass detailing on the costume adds a certain flair to the design, contrasting with the maroon of the suit.  The rest of the costume invokes almost a bounty hunter-esque feeling like that of Boba Fett, Jango Fett and even Zam Wesell.

The mask is no mistake; Bliss is hiding her identity for a reason. After the events of The Last Jedi, bounty hunters, thieves and other mischief-seekers were given the perfect opportunity to resume operations. If the First Order and the New Republic are at war, who's stopping the criminal underbelly of the galaxy far, far away?

Whether Bliss chooses light, darkness or nothing at all remains to be seen --the Star Wars franchise is famous for characters turning morality after all.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Matt Smith, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives Dec. 20.
