Baby Yoda will be under the Christmas tree this year.

As hoped by many, The Mandalorian's cutest character will have its own array of merchandise, and in time for the holiday shopping season. While exactly what kind of merchandise will be available hasn't yet been announced, it's expected to be sold at major retail stores such as Kohl's, Target and Hot Topic, as well as online outlets such as Amazon.

Disney will also have an assortment of products available at its online store as well as its theme parks.

The adorable creature has captured the hearts of Star Wars fans since its surprise appearance in the pilot episode of Disney+'s The Mandalorian. The baby's presence on the show had been kept a secret by Disney, and therefore was not initially offered among the show's merchandising tie-ins.

While commonly referred to as Baby Yoda, the 900-year-old Yoda had already become one with The Force years before The Mandalorian's timeframe. The creature's connection to the Jedi Master, if any, has yet to be revealed.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The first two episodes are streaming now on Disney+.
