In the latest TV spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which aired during the final game of the World Series, Luke Skywalker takes a stroll down memory lane when he boards the Millenium Falcon once more. The promo opens with a shot of the Falcon and follows Luke as he walks down the corridor and enters the cockpit, which lights up when he steps inside.

Kylo Ren appears next. Voiced over with the phrase "let the past die," he punches a wall, causing it to sputter and spark.

"Darkness rises," Snoke says in another scene, where he sits upon a throne in a giant, blood red room. "And the light, to meet it."

"I need someone to show me my place in all of this," Rey tells someone off-screen. In the final scene, she looms over the camera, wielding her lightsaber in the pouring rain. The scene is cut to look as though she is standing above Luke, though this could be misleading due to the way the scenes are edited together.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens December 15 and stars Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Benicio Del Toro as ‘DJ’, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa.
