'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Video Allows You to Explore Jakku

Fans can explore Jakku, a key setting of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," in a new 360-degree video from Disney and Lucasfilm.

Created exclusively for Facebook, the nearly minute-long video puts viewers in the seat of Rey's speeder as they maneuver the site of the Battle of Jakku, in the shadow of a crashed Imperial Star Destroyer. Listen closely at the end and you'll hear the chirping of BB-8.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens Dec. 17 in Europe and Dec. 18 in North America.

Speed across the Jakku desert from Star Wars: The Force Awakens with this immersive 360 experience created exclusively for Facebook.
