'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Unveils New Character

Empire has debuted the first look actual look at a new character from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens": Constable Zuvio.

We say "actual" because, as with so many other "Star Wars" characters, Zuvio was previously glimpsed in action figure form. But here we see him as he'll appear in the J.J. Abrams film, where he's a "tough and humorless" “vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world” who “keeps order in a frontier trading post."

It's probably a safe bet that Zuvio's home is the desert planet Jakku, where he causes trouble for Daisy Ridley's Rey, and/or assists the First Order. But that's only a guess.

We'll know for sure when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" arrives in theaters next month.
