Confirming months of speculation, the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will air on ESPN's Monday Night Football. A teaser for the upcoming trailer has been released to mark the coming of the new footage.

The short clip was posted by Star Wars to Twitter and shows Rey, Poe Dameron, Chewbacca, Finn and C-3P0 in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. "The final trailer," reads the post's caption. "Tune in to Monday Night Football on [ESPN] to watch it live."

The first footage from the film teased the return of Emperor Palpatine to the Star Wars Universe after his apparent death at the end of Return of the Jedi. A sizzle reel at D23 then teased Rey going to the Dark Side, though whether that will actually happen or not remains to be seen.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Matt Smith, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives on Dec. 20.
