The original Clone Wars is coming to Disney+ (and bringing some Ewok friends along with it).

Star Wars: Clone Wars -- the 2003 Star Wars animated series developed and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack) -- will be available on Disney+ in its entirety starting Friday, April 2. It will be joined on the service the very same day by Star Wars: Ewoks (or simply Ewoks), the 1985 cartoon developed by Batman: The Animated Series' Paul Dini alongside Bob Carrau.

Tartakovsky's Clone Wars originally premiered on Cartoon Network on Nov. 7, 2003. Set between the events of 2002's Attack of the Clones and 2005's Revenge of the Sith, the show chronicles the eponymous Clone Wars, which were first alluded to in 1977's A New Hope. The show ran for a total of 25 episodes across three seasons, concluding on March 25, 2005 (Seasons 1 and 2 are collectively referred to as Volume I, with Season 3 accounting for Volume II). The series was ultimately replaced in the official Star Wars canon by Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which premiered on Cartoon Network in 2008 and released its final season on Disney+ in 2020.

Ewoks originally premiered on ABC on Sept. 7, 1985 -- the same day as Star Wars: Droids. The show follows Wicket W. Warrick and his fellow Ewoks on the forest moon of Endor prior to the events of the original trilogy. Ewoks ran for 26 episodes across two seasons, concluding on Dec. 13, 1986.
