For better or worse, Disney+'s new series Tales of the Jedi stuck to the untold stories of Star Wars' prequel era. These concise episodes were great and added some heartbreaking context, fans always hope for more. And it isn't unreasonable for them to be feeling that way. Only two Jedi were placed under the microscope -- and while it was truly spectacular to see Count Dooku's fall played out, Ahsoka Tano's story has been examined rather closely in both the animation and live-action realms.

There are so many stories that could have been told beyond the ones presented in Season 1. But thankfully, it is likely that there will be future installments of Tales of the Jedi based on the popularity of Star Wars. From the exploration of a fan-favorite Jedi's youth to the creation of The Path, there are other tales the series could delve into down the road.

What Was Mace Windu Like as a Padawan?Star Wars Tales of the Jedi Mace Windu Lightsaber Hilt Choices

One thing that every Star Wars fanatic wants is more Mace Windu. From the moment that Samuel L. Jackson ignited his lightsaber in Attack of the Clones, fans wanted to know more about this Jedi Master. Not much is confirmed about Windu's life prior to The Phantom Menace, and Tales of the Jedi could be the perfect place to provide that insight. One piece of untold history is the creation of Windu's iconic lightsaber, arguably the most recognizable of the series. It would also be intriguing to see how Windu developed his moral center. Up until his death at the hands of Sidious, Windu was the most by the book Jedi. Did he develop this deep sense of commitment and integrity from an experience in his past? A future Tales of the Jedi season could provide an answer.

How Did Luke Skywalker Teach His Padawans?Luke Skywalker The Book of Boba Fett

The use of Luke Skywalker in the Disney era has been murky at best. Most fans enjoyed his return in The Mandalorian, but his use in the prequel series was not as widely appreciated. That being said, one aspect of The Last Jedi that did spark interest was the slight peek into his time as a teacher with his short-lived Jedi academy. Seeing how Luke assumed that role after the Empire's fall is rife with story potential. Did he start the school alone or did he seek the help of other surviving Jedi like Ezra Bridger? How did he find the Force-sensitive children strewn throughout the galaxy? How did he decide what his curriculum would be? Fans have been begging for an animated Luke Skywalker series, and a few Tales of the Jedi episodes could fill that void.

Quinlan Vos and The Path's Story Needs to be Told

quinlan vos star wars

How long will fans need to beg for more Quinlan Vos before the Disney overlords finally give in? Vos' eccentric Jedi tendencies are pleading to get more screen time, with only a small arc in The Clone Wars, a stellar book and several off-hand mentions. There are plenty of canonical stories to mine that would be perfect for Tales of the Jedi. Either his fall to the Dark Side and subsequent return to the Jedi or how he survived Order 66 but his padawan didn't would be beyond intriguing.

Quinlan's most recent mention showed that he was still kicking long after the Empire assumed power. Obi-Wan Kenobi revealed that Quinlan is responsible for the creation of The Path, an underground system that smuggled Force-sensitive children away from the Empire. Some have theorized that The Path's creation will be revealed in the upcoming second season of The Bad Batch, but the desire to have this story told is so fierce, putting it in future Tales of the Jedi episodes would definitely interest viewers. There are far more stories for the anthology series to tell.

Tales of the Jedi Season 1 is now streaming on Disney+.
