Disney revealed another small piece of the Star Wars puzzle Thursday, confirming the standalone films released between installments of the new trilogy will be origin stories.

That's how Chief Financial Officer Jay Rasulo characterized the spinoffs in a presentation to investors at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference, according to Variety. CEO Bob Iger confirmed those three movies in February -- a new Star Wars installment is planned for release each summer between 2015 and 2021 -- with the first two rumored to focus on Boba Fett and a young Han Solo. Yoda has also been mentioned.

"The sky’s the limit," Rasulo said of Star Wars' expansion potential. "There’s incredible flexibility. It’s an unbelievable palette to create from."

J.J. Abrams is directing the first film in the trilogy form a script by Michael Arndt. Screenwriters Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand, Sherlock Holmes) are working on the spinoffs while consulting with Abrams on Episode VII,
