With the hotly anticipated "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" arriving in less than three weeks, fans were rewarded Friday for their patience and devotion with the release of what's most likely the final trailer.

Titled "Trust," it's an extended version of the teaser that debuted Thursday on ABC as part of “Disney’s Magical Holiday Celebration." It reintroduces footage of young Jyn Erso with her mother, likely reigniting fan speculation about whether Felicity Jones' heroine wears around her neck a kyber crystal, used to construct lightsabers. The Galactic Empire also mines the material for its new superweapon, the Death Star.

Fans also glimpse at some more of the film's battles, including some very nicely done choreography from Donnie Yen. As we saw in the previous version of the trailer, K-2SO, the former Imperial enforcer droid played by Alan Tudyk, is also featured heavily, bringing humor to what's effectively a war film. The overarching theme of the trailer is the unity among the ragtag team of Rebels, as Jyn is shown giving an impassioned speech about being able to defeat the Empire.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” opens Dec. 15 in the United Kingdom and Dec. 16 in the United States.
