Only two days after tickets went on sale, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker continues to break records.

Deadline reports the film has broken a Fandango record this time around. The Rise of Skywalker has sold more than any other Star Wars movie on the ticket-buying service, surpassing even The Force Awakens. As of Wednesday, the film is still the #1 daily ticket-seller on Fandango. The Star Wars threequel accounts for more than half of the day's ticket sales on the site.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is blasting through all current and upcoming new releases, with massive presales on Fandango,” Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis said in a statement. “Film fans are excited to see what’s in store for Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren and the rest of their favorite Star Wars characters in this final chapter of the Skywalker saga, especially with director J.J. Abrams at the helm.”

The night tickets went on sale, online ticketing service Atom Tickets reported that the upcoming Star Wars sequel outsold Avengers: Endgame by 45% within the Marvel Cinematic Universe epic's advance ticket sales within its first hour. That set a new overall record for highest number of tickets sold through the service within its first hour of all time.
