All good things must come to an end.

In less than two weeks, Daisy Ridley will conclude her run as Rey in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The role torpedoed her to instant stardom, making her a household name instantly. However, Ridley believes that now is the right time to say goodbye to the "Skywalker Saga" and Star Wars.

"I think this story, from what we filmed, [screenwriter] Chris [Terrio] and J.J. have done such an amazing job at wrapping it up, it feels like the right time to say goodbye," she told Variety. "So even though it’s sad, it feels right.

However, Ridley is well aware of the pull of Star Wars and stated that she may be open to returning someday.

"Cut to Dec. 20 when we’re done, and I’m going to be like, 'Take me back!'"

Grant. The film arrives on Dec. 20.
