Following the release of its first trailer, the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker already promised to be an epic conclusion to Disney and Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy.

Vanity Fair has since unveiled new details and photos from the highly anticipated film. We've already gotten our first looks at new character Zorri Bliss and the Millennium Falcon's new crew, and now we've also got a tease of a stunning fight between Kylo Ren and Rey.

The photo features both characters, lightsabers in hand, fighting one another in the rain. It offers no more information than that, but given the pair's surroundings, it's likely they're fighting on the wreckage of the Death Star, as teased in the film's teaser trailer.

Kylo Ren and Rey first clashed in the snowy terrain of the Starkiller base in The Force Awakens, and the two then briefly fought side by side in The Last Jedi against Supreme Leader Snoke's elite Praetorian guard. However, their alliance was short-lived.

Now, it appears as if The Rise of Skywalker will once again deliver an incredible battle between the two characters.
