Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Drops New Look At Keri Russell's Character

Despite the ceaseless efforts of an eager fanbase, the secrets of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker remain as shrouded in mystery as ever. Zorri Bliss, a new character played by Keri Russell, is a perfect example of that. Russell and Lucasfilm have released hints about Bliss here and there, but for the most part, they've been ambiguous.

A new image featuring Bliss from Entertainment Weekly deepens the mystery to this enigmatic character. Russell has stated in the past that Zorri Bliss has "a little bit of a checkered past and maybe some questionable morals, but she's really an old friend of Poe's." She is said to be aligned with neither the First Order or the Resistance. In fact, it's said that Bliss will have connections in the galaxy's criminal underworld. Whether or not she proves to be a true ally to the current trilogy's heroic trio remains to be seen.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Matt Smith, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E.
