WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in theaters now.

In what's arguably the most far-reaching examples of cross-marketing in recent memory, a key moment alluded to in the opening crawl from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has finally surfaced... in Epic Games' Fortnite.

During Fornite's Rise of Skywalker event, the unmistakable voice of Emperor Palpatine begins reciting a monologue which, as it turns out, is the same one the crawl is referring to when it reads, "The dead speak! The galaxy has heard a mysterious broadcast, a threat of REVENGE in the sinister voice of the late EMPEROR PALPATINE."

"At last the work of generations is complete," Palpatine says. "The great error is corrected. The day of victory is at hand. The day of revenge. The day of the Sith!"

Now, fans of the film who don't necessarily play Fortnite can take comfort in knowing what the rest of the galaxy heard to incite such widespread panic.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E.
