WARNING: The following article may contain major spoilers for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in theaters Dec. 20.

Burger King Deutschland has launched a bizarre new marketing campaign that allegedly spoils Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Dubbed "Spoiler Whopper," the campaign promises that those who are willing to be spoiled on the events of The Rise of Skywalker will receive a free Whopper in exchange for their sacrifice. The full ad, complete with English subtitles, is below:

Is Spoiler Whopper legit, though, or merely a PR stunt? Fans might notice that at no point in the ad are the film or any of its characters mentioned by name, presumably for legal reasons as Burger King is not one of The Rise of Skywalker's sponsors. The same can be said for the official press release, which was translated to English on Reddit.

That said, should any of the "spoilers" from the ad actually pan out in the film, it won't be Emperor Palpatine that gets the last laugh -- it'll be Burger King Deutschland.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives Dec. 20.
