Director Rian Johnson shared a photo of his notebooks from his time spent directing The Last Jedi, as well as a photo of Carrie Fisher, recently on social media.

"Closet cleaning found my Last Jedi writing notebooks," Johnson posted on Instagram. "Such a trip flipping through them."

Though Johnson didn't share exactly what was written in the notebooks within his post, the six notebooks appear to be thick from nearly two years of writing. All books are labeled with the writing period dates, with the first beginning in Jun. 2014 and the last ending in Jan. 2016.

Johnson found more than just notes during his clean-out. "A few polaroids stuck in the pages," he added, which he described as a "bonus." One photo was a black-and-white, seemingly candid shot of the late Carrie Fisher, which showed her out of costume as she pursed her lips at the camera and opening what looks like a can of soda. Fisher passed away about one year before The Last Jedi hit screens worldwide. Johnson dedicated the film to her memory, writing, "In Loving Memory of Our Princess, Carrie Fisher" during the film's credits.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Carrie Fisher.
