If it's seemed like the formidable Grand Admiral Thrawn has been toying with the fledgling Rebellion, probing for its strengths and weaknesses, that's because ... well, he has been. However, as we see in the epic trailer for the one-hour Season Three finale of "Star Wars Rebels," that's all about to end.
"Everything leading up to this moment has been rehearsal," he says. "The real performance is about to begin."
That "performance," as he calls it, is an all-out attack, designed to crush the Rebellion once and for all. Of course, the Ghost crew, with some help for Sabine and her fellow Mandalorians may have something to say about that.
Read the synopsis for the two-part season finale, "Zero Hour," below:
In final preparations for their attack on Lothal, Phoenix Squadron’s plans are disrupted when Grand Admiral Thrawn discovers their location.
Trapped on Atollon with the rebel base under siege, Hera and Kanan fight to keep the squadron alive, as Ezra attempts to rally help from an unexpected source.
Starring Taylor Gray, Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar and Steven Blum, "Star Wars Rebels" airs Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD.
