Background characters are a staple throughout the Star Wars franchise, with countless extras bringing life to innumerable species from the galaxy far, far away. George Lucas' own children played a number of background roles throughout the prequel trilogy, with the creator even making a cameo of his own in Revenge of the Sith. Here are all the characters portrayed by the Lucas family.

Amanda Lucas as Diva Funquita (The Phantom Menace)

Amanda Lucas took the role of Diva Funquita, who is seen in Jabba the Hutt's private viewing box during the Boonta Eve Classic podrace. The Theelin was an assistant to Gardulla Besadii the Elder, a Hutt who later appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3, Episode 9, "Hunt for Ziro." Amanda Lucas as Tey How (The Phantom Menace)

Trade Federation battleship pilot Tey How was voiced by an uncredited Marc Silk as well as Amanda Lucas, credited as Tyger. The female Neimodian first appeared at the beginning of The Phantom Menace, where she delivered the line, "We lost the transmission, sir!" in a droid-like vocoder voice. Her next and final appearance occurred during the battle of Naboo, where How declared, "We're losing power. There seems to be a problem with the main reactor," before she was killed by Anakin Skywalker's destruction of the Vuutan Palaa.

Katie Lucas as Amee (The Phantom Menace)

The Phantom Menace also featured a cameo by Katie Lucas, who portrayed Anakin Skywalker's human childhood friend Amee. The young girl had a brief line where she told Skywalker, "You've been working on that thing for years," right before the Boonta Eve classic.
