Star Wars Premakes Make YouTube Worthwhile

It's well-known that George Lucas was heavily influenced by old science fiction movies while making the Star Wars series, but what if the original movies had come out in the 1940s and '50s? Thankfully, the internet has people to answer that question for you.

These fan-made "premake" trailers for Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back may, occasionally, be clunky and obvious (Metropolis's robot instead of C3P0? Really?), but you have to admit, they definitely make you wish that you could see whole movies like this, don't they?

But if you think that was good, you should really check out the wonderful Raiders premake:Someone, give these people the rights to every old movie in the world so that they can create full-length movies as good as these trailers.
