After Ron Howard was brought onboard to reshoot a massive portion of Solo: A Star Wars Story following the firing of directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, it was revealed that, due to scheduling conflicts, The Wire alum Michael K. Williams would be replaced by Paul Bettany as the primary antagonist, Dryden Vos. However, that doesn't mean Williams no longer has a desire to travel to a galaxy far, far away.

“I have not had the chance to see ‘Solo’ but shout out to my cast mates,” Williams told Variety at the Toronto International Film Festival. “Even though I didn’t make the final cut, they’re still my cast mates. I love you guys. I’m quite sure I’ll get around to it but I’m more interested in getting another shot in being in that galaxy…I would love another opportunity to be in ‘Star Wars.’”

Williams being replaced by Bettany was just one of many changes made to Solo after Lord and Miller departed the project. However, with countless Star Wars projects in the works, ranging from the big screen to the small screen, it stands to reason that Williams should be able to find a home elsewhere in the galaxy.

Directed by Ron Howard, Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Joonas Suotamo, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Paul Bettany and Woody Harrelson. The film arrives Sept. 14 on digital HD and Sept. 25 on Blu-ray and DVD.
